Fit Dad Nation

Dec 18, 2019

If you're a dad who is struggling with your health and fitness, listen to this show.

We have a transformation challenge coming up in January and this is one you absolutely want to be a part of if you're serious about changing your habits, diet, body, mental strength, and/or consistency.

I'm calling it Project 45 and this it isn't a traditional "weight loss" challenge. This challenge is about mental toughness and sticking to something for 45 days, regardless of your excuses.

Yes, you'll lose weight, get stronger, fitter, and healthier, but this is more of a mental game. What you accomplish will translate into every area of your life.

You’ll come away with a new appreciation for what your body can do, your relationships with food and alcohol, and hopefully more inspiration and motivation to continue down the path to long-term health.

I'm doing this myself as well because I lack the discipline I want. It will be as hard for me as it is for you and giving up things like my Monster Zero's is going to be brutal.

We're busy dads. We have lives. We have careers and long commutes. We have families and kids sports. And we have excuses. A f*cking ton of them!

We allow ourselves cheat meals, off days, and we cash it in far too often. We get lazy and demotivated and quit. This challenge will help you break those habits holding you back and kill your excuses why you can't do something.

This isn’t about being perfect because that unrealistic. It’s about challenging yourself, committing to something and sticking to it even when shit gets in the way, which it always does.

The rules are simple:

• Commit to all 45 days long starting 1/1/20

• Following a diet (any healthy diet) with zero cheat meals

• Follow the strength/conditioning training guide provided (or use your own) along with daily mobility work

• Drink half your body weight in ounces of water daily

You'll have all the tools you need to succeed and get through all 45 days. An accountability partner, a simple to follow guide, spreadsheet for tracking, and a daily check in calendar.

In all honesty, this won't be easy for any of us, probably much harder than any of us can anticipate right now, but it will be worth it.

When was the last time you stuck to something for 45 days and didn't quit even once? It’s about making a promise to yourself and keeping it.

This challenge will take place in our Inner Circle program and you can learn more about what we do at https://www.fdnic.com/
