Fit Dad Nation

As a father, I have no doubt you want to look and feel the best you possibly can. And when we're at our best, we become better husbands, better fathers, and better men.

If you're serious about getting fit and staying there, my advice is to stop chasing quick fixes, fad diets, and promises of easy abs.

Instead, take responsibility for your decisions and follow these 6 very simple rules and I promise you'll see progress.

1. Stop making excuses. Your excuses are keeping you fat and lazy, period. We all have sh*t to do and there never seems to be enough time. There is. Always.

2. Make yourself a priority. If you aren’t making yourself a priority, start. Simply put, you cannot be the best husband or father you’re capable of being if you aren’t at the top of your daily “to-do” list. It’s not selfish and I’ll argue that the most selfish thing you can do is to neglect yourself. Why? Because everything in your life suffers when you do. And your kids deserve the best version of their dad.

3. Eat like you give a sh*t about your body. You don’t need to “diet”, starve yourself, or eliminate all the foods you love. That doesn’t work long-term anyways. But what you do have to do is eat like you care about your body. We literally are what we eat, so choose wisely. Stop drinking f*cking soda. Avoid any restaurant with a drive thru. Eat a veggie with every meal. It's not rocket science here

4. Life is hard, get over it. Life can be a f*cking bitch and sometimes we’re thrown curve balls and immensely difficult situations. It happens. You can either handle it or complain about it. Life doesn’t owe you a thing. Accept that and move forward.

5. Put in work every single day. Get your ass out of that comfy leather chair and into the gym. Or outside. Or for a walk. Or to a park. Doesn’t matter. Put work in every day of your life. Train hard. Move as much as possible. Embrace the outdoors. Stretch daily. Life sucks when you feel like sh*t all the time.

6. Realize that life is short. Do you want it spend it being fat, immobile, and tired all the f*cking time? Or do you want to wake up feeling amazing and 15 years younger than your age? Recognize that your time will come sooner than you think and do everything in your power to improve the quality of your life. One day it will be too late.

Our private membership community, the Fit Dad Nation Inner Circle is where we tackle these things and work as a tribe to build each other up, help each other succeed, and get after it every f*cking day. FDNIC.COM
