Fit Dad Nation

Oct 30, 2018

Larry Yatch is a retired Navy SEAL, a father to two young boys, speaker, coach, and a successful business owner. He was part of SEAL Team Three and after being critically injured and medically discharged, has been able to use his experience and knowledge to help others in the business world.

He and his wife Anne started SealedMindset.com in 2008, having more than 100,000 people go through their courses and programs, and have created a process called the Exceptional Life Formula, which they now teach at Plan-Site.com.

It was an honor to speak with Larry and he is a class act across the board. His story started out like many of our own; being bullied as a kid, struggling to fit in, and trying to find something he excelled in.

But unlike many, he chose to use his hardships as the catalyst to create great things in his life. He decided at an early age that becoming a Navy SEAL was his path and he immersed himself in sports, academics, and extracurricular activities.

Out of over 12,000 applicants to the Naval Academy, they accepted only 1,200. He was one of them. And out of 200 men interested in becoming SEAL's, they chose 15 to go through BUD/S. He was one of them as well.

Aside from his military experience, which is incredibly impressive, he has created a business and process that has helped thousands of people become more proficient at what he calls "situational awareness" and teaches them how to live life more confidently, effectively, and purposefully.

On our call, we planned to do a follow up interview in the near future given the scope of what he's teaching and how much it's impacting others and I'm truly looking forward to that conversation as well.

I also want to invite all you dads who are listening right now and who are ready to start taking action on reclaiming your health and fitness and becoming better fathers and better men to join our free online community and the best way to do that is to head over to Facebook and apply to our private group, the Fit Dad BaseCamp.
